Judging Criteria

The competition will be judged in these categories:

A. Lip Sync Abilities: How well the performer(s) lip-sync the lyrics of the song.

B. Creativity: Instead of just standing on stage and lip-syncing a song - props, choreography, costumes and/or other ideas should be used to impress the judges. You best be prepared to Rock the House Guardsmen Style !!!

C. Stage Presence & Choreography: Again, don’t just stand there! Engage the audience, dance, smile, pose, make eye contact with the judges…YOU ARE Michael, Whitney, Marvin, Aretha, or Biggie.

Some rules to get you ready:

If there are over 18 entries, preference will be given first to a registrant from a Chapter that is not otherwise represented and second in the order received by the Battle Referee.2. An "entry" can range in size from 1 to 4 people.3. Contestants may use props and or costumes; "microphones" will be provided. 4. Song segments cannot exceed 90 seconds. You will perform twice in the Elimination Round and, if selected, twice in the Finals (oxygen will not be provided.) 7. Please have your song segment prepared. There will be scheduled rehearsal time with the DJ. (Shower and bedroom mirror rehearsals are subject to your discretion and the tolerance of your spouse/significant other.)8.
